Spinelli Corporation's Clint Modesitt Earns EnCase(R) Certification
Litigation Support and Private Investigative Firm Employs Only Private Sector EnCase-Certified Computer Forensic Investigators in Arizona
Spinelli Corporation announced today that Computer Forensic Investigator Clint Modesitt has earned certification from Guidance Software Inc., as an EnCase® Certified Examiner (EnCE).
Investigators who have 18 months of investigative experience, with at least six months experience conducting computer forensics examinations, are eligible to pursue EnCase certification. Few computer forensics investigators complete the certification process. Only 436 people worldwide -- 354 of them in the United States -- have earned EnCase certification in the three years that Guidance Software has been offering this certificate.
"We congratulate Mr. Modesitt on his accomplishment. EnCase certification requires extensive training and continuing education, and indicates that the methodologies and tools used by Spinelli Corporation's computer forensic investigators are accepted and endorsed by the courts," said William S. Papazian, President, Chief Executive Officer and General Counsel.
Before joining Spinelli Corporation, Mr. Modesitt served as a computer forensics analyst for the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office in Phoenix, Arizona, where he performed extensive computer forensics analysis and testified as an expert witness on numerous occasions.
In addition to his EnCase certification, Mr. Modesitt has been certified by the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS) as a Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE). He has also received extensive training in computer forensics from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Computer Security Institute, National White Collar Crime Center and Guidance Software. Mr. Modesitt is also a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
Spinelli Corporation's Computer Forensic division is headed by Andrew Jolley, MBA, EnCE, CCFT. Reporting to him are computer forensics investigators Mr. Modesitt, EnCE, CCFT and Jonathan Karchmer, EnCE. The litigation support and private investigation firm employs the only private sector EnCase-Certified computer forensic investigators in Arizona.
Spinelli Corporation conducts on site and in-house computer forensic investigation and analysis in support of electronic discovery requests, to develop evidence in civil cases and to investigate such matters as unauthorized file access, and use of the Internet, E-mail or employer-owned computer or laptop for non-work activities.
