The Human Identification e-SymposiumTM (HumID) is a 1-day international online conference, which is part of the Forensic Institute's Forensic e-SymposiumTM 2008 Series.

The e-SymposiumTM will be broadcast live & online on the 31 March 2008 and is accessible to to anyone with a computer, a soundcard and an Internet connection. The event is streamed via the extremely user-friendly BrightTALK Player.

The presentations consist of a slideshow coupled with the speaker's live, spoken presentation. Each presentation lasts for 20 minutes, followed by a Q&A session of 10 minutes. The online conference is kicked off by a high profile keynote, followed by a round table debate of leading industry experts. This is then followed by cutting edge presentations held by world-renowned speakers and sponsorship sessions presenting the latest developments, thinking, strategies and technologies. So to ensure that no delegate misses out on any of the presentations due to time differences or agenda clashes, each presentation is archived and made available 48 hours after the live event.
